Vertigo Productions has made it our mission to service the playwrights of this university— we have dedicated our resources to uplifting the voices of young artists and to giving their work a platform so that it can reach the rest of the student body. Our goal is to fostering conversation about the ideas, topics, arguments, and themes that are on young peoples’ minds.
Vertigo Productions is the only Northwestern theatre organization devoted entirely to producing student written work and supporting Northwestern writers. Vertigo gives undergraduate playwrights the opportunity to have their original works realized into full-fledged productions, staged readings, and workshops. By producing student-written theatre, Vertigo hopes to be a creative and dynamic presence on campus, encouraging students to take artistic risk and providing them with the platform to have their voices heard.
